July 23 New Album for Downloading AlbumsAfter talking to my mom about downloading more than one picture and thinking about some of the feedback I wanted to share how to download more than one picture at a time - I know there's lots here.
So, take a look at the new album, How to Download... it gives step by step instruction on how to do it.

June 27 All DoneI was going to add one more album but I have maxed out. Next Month - in 3 days - I can add more but for the most part they are all there now. I have one more batch of unknowns of Haroldsen & Hattons mixed and a book my Aunt Carole put together but that's mainly Eva's family but I'll still put it up for my cousins (over 300 pictures again). I also have another photo album to scan but that's mostly Eva's mission to North Western States.
I am allowed 500 Pictures/month. I don't believe the old albums dissappear, but just in case you may want to down load them while you can - just in case.
If you have more pictures or memorabilia please let me know so I can add it to this site or link to websites where more information is.
I love doing genealogy but finding picture and stories is really what brings it all to life... "Without sourses genealogy is just mythology." June 26 Haroldsen GedcomI added a Haroldsen Gedcom in the Genealogy Folder today. This is set up to use in any genealogy program. If you don't have one you can go to familysearch.org and download Personal Ancestral File (PAF) for free in order to view the pedigree and notes about this family. June 24 CommentsI realize there are a lot of pictures to go through... especially as I go through to see if anyone has added a comment. If you do leave a comment about a certain picture please leave a comment on this entry also indicating which picture and I can change the name of the picture to include the names of the people in the picture.
Also, if you send me a request to "be your friend" please leave a comment here as well to let me know who you are.

June 20 Haroldsen PhotosI am starting this blog to share the photos I received from my Aunt Marlene of her parents' family. The first is from her mother, Eva Haroldsen's photo album from 1915-1920. Lots of family snap shots that show more personality than most posed pictures of that era. There are also many pictures of her brother, Morgan, and his friends as they prepare to leave for Camp Fremont in 1918 to prepare to enter World War 1.
Of course nothing in life is free... I want to share all these pictures with you but I need your help identifying any of the people you recognize for me.
It will take me a few days to edit all the pictures and upload them so come back periodically to see if there have been any editions. Eventually I want to add more pictures from other families but I'll save all that for later.
If you know more people that will find these pictures of interest feel free to invite them to view them also. Let me know if you want to link this to pertaining websites, like The Christian Haroldsen Family at haroldsen.com (a great site that has many written histories of the people you will see here).
